About Villas Bretagne

Francis Berrou has been offering villa rentals since 2002. The villas are luxury rentals in northern Finistère, in Plouescat and Santec. Each property features a heated indoor pool and/or a private spa, a fenced-in garden, and direct or nearby access to the sea. Reservations are made directly with us, with no middlemen.

A vacation rental with a heated indoor pool is a vacation home equipped with a covered pool that is kept at a constant temperature regardless of the weather. In Brittany, this type of property allows you to enjoy swimming year-round, even during the off-season. The indoor pool is locked and reserved exclusively for the villa’s occupants for the duration of their stay.

The three Villas Bretagne properties stand out for their capacity and their proximity to the sea. Villa Littorina accommodates up to 9 people and features an 8 × 3 m indoor pool and a south-facing terrace. The more intimate Villa Soléa is suitable for 6 people and features an 8 × 3.20 m pool. La Maison sur la Mer, in Santec, is the only property located directly on the beachfront, with an indoor spa overlooking the waves and access to the beach via private stairs.

The indoor pools at Villa Littorina and Villa Soléa are heated to 29–30° year-round with a self-regulating filtration system. La Maison sur la Mer features an indoor spa heated to 38°. This means you can rent these villas in Brittany outside the summer season and enjoy a swimming area in comfortable conditions.

According to Villas Bretagne, direct reservations are made through the villas-bretagne.com website. The availability calendar is updated in real time and synchronized with third-party platforms via iCal. A 30% deposit is due at the time of reservation, with the balance due upon arrival. However, for reservations in July and August, an additional 30% is due by June 1, with the balance due upon arrival. Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, check, cash, or ANCV vacation checks. Book directly with the owner.

During certain peak seasons, stays are on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis. Outside of these seasonal restrictions, check-in and check-out dates are flexible. Reservations can be made up until the day before, provided the villa is available. For any special requests that fall outside the standard criteria, please contact the owner directly.

The three villas at Villas Bretagne are equipped to accommodate families with young children. Each property has a crib, a high chair, a stair gate, and bicycles with child seats or trailers. Villa Littorina and Villa Soléa also feature a wooden playhouse for children. La Maison sur la Mer has a swing set and a children’s playhouse in its 8,000 m² garden. The gardens of each villa are fenced in.

Pets are allowed in the three villas at Villas Bretagne, with a limit of two pets per stay. A surcharge of €90 per pet applies and must be specified at the time of booking. This information is required before your stay is confirmed so that we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure your stay goes smoothly.

ANCV vacation checks are accepted as a form of payment at Villas Bretagne, along with credit cards, bank transfers, and checks. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, regardless of the payment method chosen. This flexibility allows families who receive employer-provided benefits to take advantage of this program for their stay in Finistère.

Villa Littorina and Villa Soléa are located in Plouescat, in northern Finistère, 200 meters from the coastal trails and the beach, and 2.5 km from downtown. La Maison sur la mer is located in Santec, 3 km from the town center, right on the waterfront with access to the beach via private stairs from the garden. All three properties are standalone and feature a fenced, landscaped garden.

Yes, the amount is 1,000 euros, payable on the day of arrival. The check will be returned within 8 days.

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. If you arrive at your destination before 4:00 p.m., please feel free to contact me. If the rental is ready earlier, you’ll be able to check in a little sooner. If it’s not ready yet, you can drop off your bags and go for a walk or run some errands while you wait.

The rate includes: water, electricity, a pool heated to 30° year-round, a spa heated to 37°, beds made upon your arrival, a supply of small and large towels, bathrobes for adults and children, dish towels…

Each home is equipped with a secure charging station for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles

Housekeeping services are available during your stay. Please let me know a few days in advance. The cost is 25 euros per hour.
