General Rental Conditions
Article 1: Arrival and Departure Times
The tenant can arrive between 4 pm and 7 pm on the day of arrival specified in the reservation. Please let me know if you will be arriving later.
Departure is at 10:00 AM at the latest on the day specified in the reservation. For optimal organization, please notify us approximately one hour before your arrival and departure.
Article 2: Prices
The price includes:
renting the house
utilities (water, electricity, gas, firewood, internet…)
Bed linen is provided (beds are made upon arrival, small and large towels, bathrobes, and tea towels are provided).
Cleaning and bed linen change once a week for long stays.
Article 3: Reservation
A deposit of 30% will be required upon booking and the balance upon arrival.
For reservations made for July and August, a second deposit will be required on June 1st and the balance upon arrival.
Any reservation made through the website www.villas-bretagne.com implies consultation and
full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions as well as the terms of sale at the time of booking.
The customer must confirm by ticking the box after having read the general terms and conditions and the rental conditions before definitively validating their reservation.
Any reservation made by email will only be validated upon receipt of the deposit payment and the signed rental agreement.
The client declares that he is of legal age and has the full legal capacity to enter into these terms and conditions.
Your reservation will be confirmed within 24 hours.
If the confirmation email is not received within 24 hours of booking, it is the client’s responsibility to contact the owner to ensure the information provided and that the booking has been taken into account.
Article 4: Cancellation
Cancellation by the tenant:
The customer does not have a right of withdrawal.
All cancellations must be notified to the landlord by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. In case of cancellation by the tenant:
If the deposit is not received more than 60 days before the arrival date, it will be retained.
From 60 days to 30 days before the arrival date, 60% of the rental amount is due to the landlord.
less than 30 days before the arrival date, 100% of the rental amount is due to the landlord.
It is possible to purchase cancellation insurance.
Cancellation by the owner:
In the event of exceptional circumstances, force majeure, or if the reserved rental property cannot be made available to the tenant, the owner may attempt to offer similar accommodation as a replacement. The client may cancel their reservation, which will result in an immediate refund.
The owner cannot be held liable to the client for failure to perform its obligations resulting from a force majeure event.
In the event of cancellation following a government decision (COVID 19), the tenant may request a refund or postpone their stay to another available period.
Article 5: Use of the rental.
The tenant agrees to personally occupy the premises and live there responsibly. Assignment or subletting is not permitted under any circumstances, even free of charge, without the landlord’s written consent.
The tenant agrees to respect the maximum number of people indicated in the rental description.
Any damage caused by the client or occupants must be reported as soon as possible, without waiting until the end of the stay. Repairs may be charged to the tenant up to the cost of restoring the property to its original condition and deducted from the security deposit.
If the amount of the security deposit is insufficient, the landlord may demand the difference from the tenant.
Any anomaly, even if not attributable to the customer, such as a drop in water temperature, must be reported as soon as possible. The tenant will not be charged if they are not at fault.
The use of equipment and services is the responsibility of the tenant/occupant. The use of bicycles, paddleboards, or other equipment is the tenant’s responsibility. The tenant must check all equipment before use. The owner cannot be held liable.
Spa and pool areas are places for relaxation and enjoyment. This should not be spoiled by an accident that can happen so easily.
Every child must be under the responsibility of a responsible adult.
For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking is strictly prohibited in the rental property.
Tents, marquees, caravans and motorhomes are prohibited on the property.
The tenant is advised to take out a standard holiday insurance policy. Failure to have insurance will make the tenant liable.
Article 6: Animals
Small and medium-sized pets are welcome. A fee of 90 euros will be charged. They must respect basic hygiene rules and the integrity of the facilities, and remain the responsibility of their owner at all times.
Article 7: Departure
Upon departure, you must gather the bed linen, towels and bathrobes, and vacuum. The kitchen, dishes, and appliances must be clean.
If you prefer, a contribution towards the cleaning costs of 120 euros will be requested.
For optimal organization, a time slot for your departure the day before would be appreciated.
Article 8: Tourist tax
The cost is €1.40 per person per day.
Article 9: Confidentiality
In accordance with Article 34 of Law 78-17 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties of 6 January 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) or “GDPR”, you have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning you.
